A&B Young Adults' Retreat Day Chichester
About this event
Part of our Young Adult Retreat series: "You also are my witnesses, because you have been with me" (Jn 15:27). Pope Leo XIV's message for the 40th World Youth Day.
Young Adults (18-35) from across the UK are invited to join the Youth team from Arundel and Brighton Diocese for a Retreat Day at St Richard of Chichester Church on Saturday 7th November 2026.
This retreat day will focus on the following extract from John's Gospel:
"To bear witness to the light, that all might believe through him" (Jn 1:7)
Join us and guest speakers for a powerful one-day retreat — a sacred opportunity to encounter Jesus. Come as you are, bringing your fears, joys, struggles, and hopes before Him in an atmosphere of prayer, worship, and openness.
A jam-packed day of prayer, formation, friendship, and fun as together, we seek hearts open to Christ's healing presence, trusting that Jesus desires to bring freedom, restoration, and transformation to our lives. As we encounter Him, we pray to grow as faithful disciples, rooted in His love and strengthened in our faith, so that we may joyfully witness to the Gospel in our daily lives. Renewed by the Holy Spirit, may our hearts be set ablaze with an apostolic zeal to share Christ with others and live boldly as His followers.
The day will include time for prayer, talks from two speakers, small group discussion sessions, Mass, a shared lunch, workshop sessions including Lectio Divina, Spiritual Direction and Scripture art.
