Our next Recital features the highly anticipated return of two talented musicians, a skilled flutist and a masterful classical guitarist, to the stunning Shrewsbury Cathedral. Please come and support these incredible artists as they perform a unique and captivating program at 2.00 pm on Saturday, 1st August.
The Luna Duo are the ensemble of Emily Hicks (flute) and Oliver Kinsella (classical guitar). Both are recent graduates from the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire, both achieving distinction in a Master of Music degree in Instrumental Performance.
The duo's objective is to explore a diverse range of repertoire by combining individual interests in Classical, Folk and Contemporary music. The Luna Duo are continuing to develop their career by taking their music across the country. They are building a repertoire that provides a journey from Italian Sonatinas to Romanian Dances and Tangos from Argentina.
Entrance is £6.00 per person (under 16-s free) and you can purchase in advance, using the link or via contactless/card on the day.
