Join us for the second film in our series: The Silence of God. We’ll be viewing ‘Crimes and Misdemeanors’ (1989; BBFC rating: 15), an existential comedy-drama film written and directed by Woody Allen.
It follows two parallel stories: a respected ophthalmologist who faces a moral crisis after arranging a terrible crime, and a struggling documentary filmmaker navigating failure, love, and ambition in New York.
Pizza and refreshments will be available from 6.30pm onwards. The film starts at 7pm.
MAGIS-metro is a weekly event for young adults, 18 to 35, offered by Jesuit Young Adult Ministries.
It follows a monthly pattern: 1st Thursday - Soup & Spirituality; 2nd Thursday - Church in the Modern World; 3rd Thursday - Film & Pizza; 4th Thursday - Philosophy, Theology & Scripture; 5th Thursday (if and when..) - Board Games!
