Magnifica Humanitas: A deep dive into Pope Leo's new encyclical
About this event
Our Speaker:
Dr Jack Norman is a Research Fellow at Blackfriars Hall, Oxford University, and the Las Casas Institute for Social Justice - a vibrant centre for research, dialogue, and policymaking on the common good of humanity and nature in the world today. Before that, he was a Research Fellow at Australian Catholic University. He completed his AHRC funded PhD at the University of Bristol in 2019.
Our theme:
Exploring our vision of the human person: what does it mean to be human? How can we safeguard the human person in the age of AI? In a world that is reshaping how we live, relate and think, we have an urgent task: to rediscover the path to true human flourishing.
Our aim:
To equip lay people to bring faith and life together, so we can live out our Christian mission in society.
