
Quarant’ore (40 Hours’ Adoration): Brompton Oratory
About this event
The annual 40 Hours of Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament, a custom popularised by St Philip Neri in 16th-century Rome, will take place in the Oratory Church from 17th to 19th March 2026.
Quarant’ore opens on Tuesday 17th March with a Solemn Mass of Exposition (Latin) at 6.30pm, followed by a procession of the Blessed Sacrament, and adoration until 12 midnight.

7.00 PM Mendelssohn's Lauda Sion Salvatorem followed by Solemn Benediction to close Quarant' Ore
