About this event

Gather for a special evening to stand in solidarity with persecuted Christians worldwide this #RedWednesday.
St George's Cathedral will be illuminated red inside and out as a visible sign of support for those suffering for their faith.

All are welcome to enjoy an evening of prayer, music and stories of courage as we give thanks for 10 years of #RedWednesday.
Hear inspiring testimonies from Fr Firas Lutfi OFM and Sister Annie Demerjian RJM, sharing stories of faith, resilience and hope from Syria and Lebanon.

Canon Michael Branch, St George's Cathedral Reflecting on the importance of standing alongside the suffering Church said:
"When one part of the body is hurting so too do the others; we feel the pain of our brothers and sisters who are being persecuted for their faith. Seeing the courage of ACN's guests is a powerful reminder of why the work of ACN is so vital."
